GETTING SPONSORED

There are two easy ways to collect sponsorship for your fundraising:

You can use our Sponsor Form – simply click here to download. Please ask your sponsors to give their home address and full name if they are a UK taxpayer so that we are able to claim Gift Aid on their donation. (Gift Aid increases the amount you raise by 25% as we are able to claim back the tax paid by the donor on the amount they have given. We also have some posters you can print off.  These are ideal if you are holding any fundraising events or would like support from people at work, letting them know what you are doing. Please click here for all our posters to download and print.

To make it easier for people to sponsor you, we would advise you to set up a personal online sponsorship page on the  Just Giving website. It’s easy, quick, costs you nothing and by doing this you can avoid the need to chase people for their sponsorship money because everything will come directly to us! However, do remember on your fundraising page, to ask your sponsors/supporters to tick the “Gift Aid” box.   Please ask your sponsors to let us know if they are a UK tax payer so that we can claim an extra 25% on their sponsorship amount at no extra cost to you, them or us!

Setting up your page is simple:  You can follow the instructions here that explain in details how to set up your personal fundraising page https://edendoratrust.org/fundraisepage-setup/ OR Visit: www.JustGiving.com and click Create/Make Your Page • Follow the simple steps to create your page • You will then be given a link to your personal fundraising page, which you can email/Facebook and other social media platforms round to all your friends, family and colleagues to encourage their sponsorship – they can sponsor you in any currency, at any time of day or night!
