I’ve worked in the banking industry since 2007 for HSBC UK on varying roles within Planning & Finance, website, Business Analytics Manager and most recently within Decision Systems as a Data Analyst. I’ve been involved with the Eden Dora Trust since around 2016 after a chance meet in Sainsbury’s during a bag packing event. Their drive to help others, support families in times of need and their passion for anything they do has inspired me to get more involved from when I first started doing sponsored runs. Over the years I’ve helped out in many ways which have grown over the years, and was honoured when asked if I wanted to be a trustee. I jumped at the chance to further my support for this fantastic charity and work with the rest of the amazing team.

Hello, I’m Simone and I work for Baker Hughes, one of the world’s largest oil field services companies. I manage the Sondex Wireline Repairs team, and offer global support to our customers worldwide. In my position, I am responsible for both revenue targets and the strategic positioning of our business.

It has been a pleasure to watch The Eden Dora Trust grow and see the work the charity has accomplished over the years, and to see its work be recognised through several awards given by industry professionals. I am looking forward to supporting The Eden Dora Trust with its future endeavours as it continues to care for affected families and partnering with key institutions to raise awareness of Childhood Encephalitis across the country.

TRUSTEE

Hi, I’m Adam. I’ve worked in the hospitality industry for the past 17 years. In the last 14 years I’ve moved over from restaurants to the technology / IT space in the industry, and I’m now IT Director for a group of restaurants which I’ve seen grow from having 6 to 45 sites. I initially found the Eden Dora Trust many years ago when I was asked to assist with the hosting of their web services. After speaking to Petrina, it was clear she had a long-lasting passion and drive for the charity, so I agreed to help with anything she/the charity needed. Over the years I’ve worked with the charity I’ve kept myself up to date with, followed and admired their growth. I’m honoured to be given the chance to be a trustee of the Eden Dora Trust and shall support the charity as much as possible as they continue to change the lives of children with Encephalitis.
