This Sunday we had an absolutely amazing afternoon celebrating our 4th birthday with so many of our incredible supporters! There was loads of things for everyone to get involved in: we had craft stations like our Paint A Pot and Plant A Seed area which was so much fun – don’t forget to tweet or facebook us pictures of your plant as it grows with #EDT #ChildhoodEncephalitis ! There was also some balloon modelling and of course our EDT Selfie Corner! (Be sure to post your selfies on social media too!) Not to mention the absolutely scrummy afternoon tea that everybody had!!

 

Towards the end of the afternoon we also held a raffle, through which we not only raised an amazing amount of funds – 100% of which go directly to us, helping us to continue helping others – but also gave away some incredible prizes to some of the wonderful people who came (3 month’s supply of Yee Kwan ice cream – yes please!)

 

A HUGE Thank you to absolutely everybody who bought tickets and came to show their support for our birthday – it was such a brilliant day. Also, we would like to say a massive thanks to Whirlowbrook Hall for having us in their gorgeous venue, to S17 Coffee Shop and bistro, Yee Kwan Ice Cream and Jump Inc for donating their wonderful prizes, and to every other person/company who showed their support by donating such great prizes – we genuinely couldn’t run any of the events that we do without each and every one of you all.
